Terms of use
Effective 8 October 2026. Version 2026-10-08.
These terms apply to every business that uses the FusionSplice platform ("you") and to each person who signs in on its behalf. By using the platform you agree to them, together with our privacy policy.
1. The service
FusionSplice provides an online platform with modules for running a business, such as finance, stock, sales, bookings, staff, documents and AI assistants. You can use the modules on your plan, which we switch on for you. We may improve, change or add to the platform over time.
2. Your account and your users
- Your company admin decides who gets a login and which modules each user can open, and is responsible for removing access when someone leaves.
- Each person must use their own login and keep their password, and their two-factor codes if used, private.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
- You are responsible for what is done under your business's logins.
3. Your data
- The records you put into the platform belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the platform to you.
- For personal information about your own customers, staff, suppliers and members, you are the responsible party under POPIA and we are your operator. You confirm that you have a lawful reason to collect and store it, and that you will tell people how you use their information where the law requires it.
- We will process that information only on your instructions, keep it confidential and secure, and tell you about any security compromise we become aware of.
- You can download all of your data at any time. When you leave, you can ask us to delete it, as set out in the privacy policy.
4. AI features
AI features draft replies, summarise documents and suggest actions. They can make mistakes. Check AI output before you rely on it or send it to anyone. Nothing the platform produces is financial, tax or legal advice.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the platform to break the law, to send spam, to store content you have no right to, to try to get into other businesses' information, or to disrupt or test the security of the platform without our written permission.
6. Fees
You pay the fees agreed for your plan. If fees are unpaid, we may limit access after giving you notice. You can still download your data while your account is limited.
7. Availability and backups
We work to keep the platform available and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We will tell you about planned downtime where we can.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
9. Ending the service
You may stop using the platform at any time, subject to your plan's notice period. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken. In either case you can download your data first, and we will delete it on request as set out in the privacy policy.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will ask you to accept the new version when you next sign in. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
